Fried rice _ coco's talktalk recipe

 preparation :  

  1. a pack of cooked rice   
  2. 1/3 cup of the finely chopped carrot, potato, cucumber, onion each and half sheet of uh-mook 
  3. any kinds of vegetable oil such as corn-oil, sunflower oil, canola oil, bean- oil etc...
  4. a bit of salt and white or black pepper powder.

         
            Tip   Do not use sesame oil or olive oil for fried rice, if it is possible for the light taste. 


uh-mook ; It is a korean fish cake. There are many types of fish cakes. You can use any types of fish cakes which you can find them in your nearby Korean or Asian food market. I recommend a square flat type of fish cake. 



How to cook

  1. heat the frying pan over medium-low
  2. add a table spoon of vegetable oil 
  3. add chopped vegetables and uh-mook and stir frequently for 2to 3minutes with a wooden spoon.   cooking tipAdd each materials in flowing order ; potato ->carrot ->cucumber -> uh-mook -> onion)
  4. add a bit of salt and white or black pepper powder and stir it 30seconds more and remove from the heat
  5. set aside fried vegetables on a plate
  6. heat the same frying pan over medium-low and add 1/2 table spoon of vegetable oil
  7. put the rice and stir it until the grains are coated and glossy
  8. reduce the heat to low and add the fried vegetables set aside on the plate(5)
  9. stir the fried rice and the fried vegetables frequently over medium-high heat  30seconds to 1 minute longer to mix and warm it through.
  10. serve immediately.
